Serena Walther, founder and principal of Mindfully Splendid, is an American designer creating multi-faceted, experiential residential, commercial and retail environments as well as collections of lifestyle product designs. She believes in finding the unique qualities in each of her clients and enhancing that through their individual design.
Through an exploration of materiality, color, forms and an intuitive juxtaposition of contemporary and vintage, architectural and organic, graphic and instinctual, she curates a wealth of experiences into every space. Walther believes that honoring history, location and architecture is imperative to pushing the boundaries and challenging the rules. Having visited 42 countries, she brings cultural references into her designs.
Among Walther’s most notable projects are TheOffice Santa Monica, TheOffice Brentwood, and custom residences for high-profile private clients.
Walther received her academic training in interior design from Pratt Institute, her Master's of Architecture from Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-ARC) and graphic design from UCLA.
